Sam Shain has built a career at the intersection of social impact, operations, and corporate strategy, with experience at organizations including Kiva, Stanford Graduate School of Business, The Trade Desk, and Favela Inc, a social innovation incubator based in Vidigal, a favela in Rio de Janeiro.
Sam is passionate about strengthening community-led organizations by equipping them with the funding, tools, and strategic frameworks needed to scale sustainably. At Fuqua, he plans to focus on impact investing, social impact consulting, and collaborative initiatives that align with CASE’s mission to use business as a force for good. Following his MBA, Sam aspires to join a consulting firm’s public sector or social impact practice, where he can help mission-driven organizations grow, adapt, and drive systems-level change.
