Annabel Weyhrich

CASE Scholar, CASE i3 Fellow

Annabel is a dual MBA/Master of Environmental Management student passionate about forestry, natural capital, and climate-focused investing. She earned a degree in Natural Resource and Environmental Management from the University of Washington and started her career in the Development Department at Fred Hutch Cancer Center, where she learned the art of relationship-building and experienced the power of mission driven work. Since then, Annabel has focused on where forestry and finance meet. She interned on the timberland team at Manulife Investment Management, studied natural capital valuation through a mentored project with Aurora Sustainable Lands, and advised a national forestry nonprofit through Duke’s CASE i3 impact investing practicum. She also leads marketing and outreach for Duke’s Natural Resources Finance Initiative. Annabel is excited to build a career in timberland investment and natural resource finance, and to help move institutional capital toward sustainable forestry and climate resilience.
