CASE Scholar
Devin describes himself as a New Yorker, despite immigrating to the city from Guyana at ten years old. A proud first-generation high school and college graduate, Devin is a product of the American public education system, having earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the City College of New York. His personal experience navigating the U.S. immigration system inspired his deep commitment to understanding and reforming complex legal and social structures.
Prior to Fuqua, Devin served as a Senior Business Immigration Consultant at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP, the world’s largest immigration firm. Working alongside experienced immigration professionals and attorneys, he helped corporate clients execute global mobility programs to move talent across borders. Devin was also active in the firm’s pro bono initiatives—participating in clinics ranging from asylum to naturalization assistance—and was named a Fragomen Pro Bono Champion for his dedication.
In addition to being a CASE Impact Scholar, Devin is a Consortium Fellow dedicated to uplifting underrepresented voices in business. He plans to leverage his MBA and CASE resources to advocate for juvenile immigrant issues and ultimately lead an immigrants’ rights nonprofit.
