CASE Scholar, CASE Fellow
Mia Knight is a second-year MBA candidate at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a CASE Fellow. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, she is focused on building a career in early-stage investing, with interests spanning healthcare, enterprise technology, and sports.
A former Division I student-athlete at the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a degree in economics. Prior to business school, she held roles at Google, Overtime, and the Make A Play Foundation. As Head of Student Programming and Partnerships at MAP, she launched Women PITCH Too, an initiative designed to increase opportunities for women pursuing careers in finance, and led partnerships with organizations including the Evercore, Morgan Stanley, and Bank of America.
This summer, Mia spent her time investing with Harlem Capital, an early-stage venture firm and Healthworx, the venture arm of CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, where she supported investment diligence, market research, financial analysis, and portfolio initiatives. Through these experiences, she has deepened her interest in backing founders solving meaningful problems while building scalable businesses.
Outside of work, Mia can usually be found exploring new restaurants, hosting friends for dinner, spending time with her dog, or watching sports.
