CASE Fellow
Monsurat Adeniyi is an MBA candidate at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where she is exploring how finance and strategy can help businesses scale, and create lasting value, particularly across energy systems. Before Fuqua, she structured financing for renewable energy and climate-aligned infrastructure developers in Nigeria, helping move promising projects from concept to bankable, built assets.
Monsurat also founded Corporately, a nonprofit that equips women from low-income backgrounds with professional clothing, career resources, and a supportive community as they enter and advance in the workplace. As a CASE Fellow, she is excited to deepen her understanding of how leaders use business, finance, and cross-sector partnerships to address complex social challenges while creating solutions that are both commercially viable and socially meaningful.
Following her MBA, she hopes to build a career developing and financing utility-scale projects that strengthen power systems and deliver reliable, affordable energy globally.
Outside work and school, Monsurat enjoys fashion, hosting friends and bringing people together, and creating spaces where people feel connected and supported.
