Mrinalini (Nali) Shah has worked across sectors—from United Nations field assignments to consulting for professional services firms.
Prior to business school, she managed financial strategy projects in the impact investment field alongside social entrepreneurs and thought leaders at Yale University. Before that, she spent three years in technology consulting, driving digital transformation across industries, and another three years leading statewide education initiatives in Texas. She also served the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in field assignments in Lesbos, Greece and Washington, DC. Nali is spending her MBA summer interning with Vanguard, an investment management firm, as part of their Leadership Development Program.
Outside of work, Nali spent two years on the Board of Directors for Financial Health Pathways, a financial education nonprofit, and enjoys teaching yoga classes. Born in Austin, she loves hot summers, live music and spending time by the water. Ask her about her favorite vegan restaurants (in Durham and beyond!).
