Paola is a passionate changemaker who breaks barriers in both boardrooms and on the rugby field, leading with purpose to empower the next generation of women in sport and tech. She’s a national team player for Mexico’s women’s XVs rugby team, proudly representing her country in international competition. In recognition of her leadership and long-standing commitment to growing the women’s game, she was selected as one of 25 global scholars in the 2025 Capgemini Women in Rugby Leadership Programme. An Economics graduate from CIDE in Mexico City, she spent over six years at Microsoft Mexico leading digital transformation initiatives for the Coca-Cola System as a Customer Success Account Manager. She also contributed to inclusion and equity efforts as a member of the Women at Microsoft México leadership team. Her passion for advancing gender equity extends beyond the corporate world: she has served as Senior Consultant for Women’s and Youth Development at the Mexican Rugby Federation, managed the women’s 7s national team during the 2018 Rugby World Cup Sevens, and currently leads community engagement for ChildFund Rugby NGO in Mexico. She also taught IB Business at Tec de Monterrey highschool, aiming to normalize women’s presence in STEM and leadership fields. As Women’s Director at Black Thunder Rugby Club, she has led efforts to recruit and retain female players. Her work consistently champions empowerment, inclusion, and representation—on and off the field.
